These Raw Chocolate Almond Butter Brownies are a serious FAV in our house. I literally make a batch just about every week and my kids beg for them – so yummy!
There are many recipes on here that I make over and over again. And then there are others that I’ve only made a couple times…

I don’t do many product reviews here without also sharing a recipe, but today is one of those rare exceptions. And I don’t feed bad about it, nor do I think you’ll be mad. Because while many of us love to cook and try out a new recipe, there are also times when we just need a quick, healthy meal or snack to grab and take on the go…
Before having kids, I often heard the phrase “my kids are eating me out of house and home”. In my naivety, I took this to mean their older kids {like seven and up 🤷🏼♀️} consumed a lot of food in their rapidly growing bodies. I realize now they were referring to all kids, big and small…

Ever met one of those people who say they don’t really care for chocolate? I’ve met a few and when these words come out of their mouth, I can’t help but look at them like they have two heads.
Not. Like. Chocolate?? How is that even possible?…
Two things: First – I may be late, but I’m definitely jumping on the overnight oats bandwagon. These Easy Overnight Oats are so versatile, healthy, convenient, kid-friendly, and best of all – so yummy!..
Well, this Dark Chocolate Bark with Toasted Quinoa and Nuts was not at all what I had intended on posting today, but after making myself nearly sick on it yesterday, because I COULD NOT STOP EATING IT, I decided that while it may not be pretty, it is AMAZING and I had to share this easy recipe! How’s that for an opening, run-on sentence? See what chocolate does to me!…
Is it ironic that as I write about these energy bars, I’m yawning?
If only I had some left, I might have more energy. They didn’t last long. Not only did I wolf them down at every opportunity…but because I thought they were so good, I shoved them at anyone I could, insisting they had to try them…
I love Fall. I love the crisp Autumn mornings, love the smell of drying leaves, love wearing layers and scarves, love the idea of a bonfire with roasted marshmallows and s’mores, love to hike in the mountains and marvel at the changing colors, I could go on and on. And I guess I already have. But needless to say, Fall, much like many others, is my favorite time of the year. Which is why we chose this time of the year to visit Vermont…
Granola is one of those things that makes a yummy snack without the guilt of eating a handful… or sometimes several handfuls.
And as much as I love granola, I made this recipe more for Josh, than myself. Mornings are often my time to get up early, grab my coffee and fix my greek yogurt with whole oats, flax and berries before curling up on one of our front porch chairs (with Tucker of course) to eat breakfast and read my devotion, catch up on personal emails, look at food blogs, etc. I’ve come to cherish this time as I consider it my “me time”…
