Real Food Bar Review + GIVEAWAY | Lemons and Basil

I don’t do many product reviews here without also sharing a recipe, but today is one of those rare exceptions. And I don’t feed bad about it, nor do I think you’ll be mad. Because while many of us love to cook and try out a new recipe, there are also times when we just need a quick, healthy meal or snack to grab and take on the go. Which is why I’m so excited to introduce you to these reimagined protein bars from Real Food Bar. If you’re already familiar with them, then you already know how AMAZING they are.

I can’t say I’ve tried every protein bar on the market, but I’ve had my fair share. More often than not, I feel like I’m eating protein powder mixed with a few other questionable ingredients. Afterwards, I’m no longer hungry, but I’m left feeling fairly dissatisfied with the overall flavor, texture, and nutrition. Many of these protein bars are made with whey or soy protein, which aren’t my favorite. Aside from my personal opinions on them nutritionally, they create a bar that isn’t allergy friendly for those needing to avoid soy or have tummy issues with whey.

Thank goodness for Real Food Bar!🙌

Real Food Bar has created a product made of simple, wholesome ingredients. Their choice of protein comes from pea protein, which is easy on the tummy to digest, while being a slow-digesting-protein that keeps you full longer. Naturally, the list of ingredients varies slightly with each flavor, but essentially these bars are loaded with peanut butter, almonds, pea protein, kale, coconut oil, organic clover honey, organic cacao chips, quinoa, dates, cherries, cashews, and other whole foods!

Every bar contains all essential food groups, packed full of vitamins and minerals that comes from REAL FOOD. And all of those real food ingredients shine through in the taste, texture, and overall enjoyment of each bar. Satisfying your body physically, while giving you peace of mind in knowing you’re nourishing your body.

Check out all three flavors – Cacao Sea Salt, Peanut Butter, and Cherry Cashew on Real Food Bar’s website. While you’re there, read about their story and reasons behind setting out to make these whole food bars, then place an ORDER! If I had to choose, Cacao Sea Salt is probably my favorite, followed closely by Peanut Butter then Cherry Cashew, but truly I love them all!
